Everybody knows that in order to truly be healthy you need to eat a wholesome and balanced diet and get a proper workout regularly. The is that, at the end of the day, we don’t always have the time or energy required for a healthy lifestyle. When our work day is finished, most people do not prefer to go to the gym. A juicy, grease laden burger is usually our food of choice and not a crunchy green salad (unless we are vegetarians). You will be happy to discover that getting healthy doesn’t have to be hard. With training you can get all of the nutrients and the physical exercise that you need. Here are some simple ways to get healthy.
Walk up the stairs. Rather than using an elevator, take the stairs to the floor you live or work on. This isn’t as easy to do if you work on a very high floor but if you work on a lower floor, utilizing the stairs is a superb way to get some extra exercise. If you do work on a very high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors early and walk the rest of the way? So many people choose the elevator over hiking even a single flight of stairs. Even just a sole flight of stairs, when travelled up or down a few times a day–can be a great improvement to your system.
There are all sorts of things that you can do to get wholesome. Intensive gym visits and narrowly defined diets are not always the solution. You can do little things every day to improve upon your health and lose weight. Being clever when you choose your food and actions is where it begins. A good amount of physical activity each day is also important. The numbers on the scale aren’t the only signal of your healthfulness. You need to help to make your body as strong it can be.

You can stir the gelatin at this point to help dissolve.
- Add 1/2 cup of glucose syrup or corn syrup to the melted gelatin along with 1 tablespoon of glycerin and 2 tablespoons of shortening. Stir the mixture and heat it until the ingredients melt.
- Turn off the burner and wear oven mitts to carefully lift the bowl out of the pan. Then, stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and set the mixture aside to cool until it's lukewarm.
- Put the powdered sugar into a large bowl so you have room to pour in the cooled gelatin mixture. Then, stir it well with a wooden spoon. The mixture should look sticky and stretchy at this point.
- Continue to stir in the remaining 4 cups of powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Depending on how firm you want your fondant, you may not need all of the powdered sugar. You can stop adding the powdered sugar once it becomes difficult to incorporate.
- Sprinkle corn flour over your work surface and turn the fondant onto it. Then, coat your hands with some powdered sugar and knead the fondant until it's soft and easy to work with.
- To color your fondant, add a few drops of liquid gel food colouring. Mix in the color and add more until it's as bright as you like.
